Plateau first class chief, Dimlong, dies at 58
A first class chief, Joshua Dimlong, the Ngolong Ngas and traditional ruler of Ngas Community in Pankshin and Kanke Local Government Areas of Plateau, is dead.
According to Mr Alexander Molwus, a member of the family and former Special Adviser to Governor Jonah Jang on political Affairs, Dimlong, 58, died at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) in the early hours of Saturday.
“He has been ill since last year and he died this morning,’’ Molwus confirmed his death to News Agency of Nigeria(NAN).
He said the burial ceremonies had been scheduled for “sometime next week’’.
