MimikoFRONTLINE group of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Germane Movement for Change (GMC), has urged the state chairman of the party, Isaac Kekemeke to wade into the the leadership tussle rocking the support group, in order to avert subversive moves that can jeopardize the chances of the party ahead of the governorship election in the state.

This was contained in a statement issued to The Guardian by GMC state secretary, Adedara Omoniyi, protesting what he described as “the malevolent manipulation of the recent election of the support group in the state and a travesty of democracy, which imposed the losers as winners over the popular choice of the majority by some few manipulators.”

The support group ambassadors, according to him, is the unifying platform of all the political fora, interest groups and movements in the state, working for the success of APC across the 18 local councils.

The Guardian learnt that the positions of state coordinator, organising secretary, financial secretary, welfare officer, Ex-officio 2 and three other positions were zoned to the central district, while other 16 offices were spread across the north and south senatorial districts.
