Party faults composition of Reps committees

THE All Progressives Congress (APC) branch in Jos North and Bassa Local Government Councils of Plateau State has faulted the composition of the leadership of the House of Representatives Committees announced by its Speaker, Yakubu Dogara recently.

In a statement in Jos and signed by their chairmen, Yakubu Hassan and Alhassan Ayiki, Jos North and Bassa LGAs respectively, the party described Dogara’s action demonstrates his total disdain and disrespect for the ruling APC. They wondered if he could defend the sharing of the standing committees’ headship, on equal basis with the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
