Oyo residents task power firm on outage
Residents of Ado-Awaye community in Iseyin Local Council of Oyo State have called on the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company IBEDC to restore electricity in the area after a one-year outage.
Some of the indigenes told The Guardian that the transformer that supplies power to the settlement got burnt early May last year and has since not been replaced by the relevant authorities.The hometown of former Deputy Governor Iyiola Oladokun in the late Lam Adesina administration borders Iseyin and is 24 kilometres away from the headquarters of the newly created Araromi Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
