Oyo/Osun Customs generates N22bn in 2018
The Oyo/Osun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has generated about N22b in the last 11 months as against N17.6bn in 2017.
The amount represents 89.3 per cent of command’s revenue target for this year.
Briefing journalists at the weekend in Ibadan, the Area Controller of the Command, Mr. Abdullahi Argungun, said: “The revenue collection has improved as the Command has collected N21,954,286,250.9k from the excise factories from January 2018 till date.”
The Customs boss also revealed that the command made seizures, which amounted to a total Duty Paid Value of N113,843,419.07k from October till date.
