The CoS was the director-general, Office of Economic Development and Partnerships, which is responsible for cross-sector partnerships between the state, national and international investors and partners.

The state government has also restated its commitment to the joint ownership of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) with its Oyo counterpart, adding that it would continue to fulfil its financial obligation for the survival of the university.

During a visit by LAUTECH management led by the vice chancellor, Prof. Michael Ologunde to Government House, the governor said the state was committed to the joint ownership of the tertiary institution, which had witnessed crisis in recent time.

He said his administration would not relent in its efforts to promote things that would strengthen the joint ownership of the university by Osun and Oyo states.

Oyetola promised more support to the university to maintain its standard.

The VC commended the governor for prioritising education, and applauded him for supporting the university’s development.
