Osun moves against road crashes
Osun State Government has moved against incessant road crashes on her roads.
The Governor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, has inaugurated a 10- man Road Safety Advisory Council to reduce crashes on the roads.
The council is chaired by the State Deputy Governor, Mr. Benedict Alabi, while the state Commissioners for Works/Transport, Health, Justice, Education, Finance and Environment are members.
Others were the representatives of the state planning commission and the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), while the State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), will serve as secretary.
Oyetola said the council would advise government on how best to ensure sanity on the roads across the state.
Speaking through his deputy, Mr. Benedict Alabi, the governor said aside advising government, the council would interface with the leadership of the FRSC in the state.
