• Denies Saying She’s His Leader

The Senator representing Ekiti South at the National Assembly, Chief Biodun Olujimi has welcomed the return of former Governor, Segun Oni to the Ekiti State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The Senator said as a frontline member of the party, she welcomed Oni’s good intention and his followers to team up to build a virile PDP in Ekiti State. In a statement by the Director General of her campaign organisation, Sanya Adesua, Olujimi said apart from Oni, the party would welcome anyone willing to return to PDP’s fold.

Meanwhile, on an online platform alleging Olujimi claimed to be Segun Oni’s leader, Adesua said nothing could be farther from the truth.

“Senator Biodun Olujimi has refuted the allegation in various platforms, affirming that she didn’t grant any such interview or ever made such frivolous statement anywhere.

“Every leader in private or political public life has a known profile, some to honour and integrity, some to mischief and unreliability. Olujimi is known for her fear of God, honour and dignity. She is also disciplined in her utterances, in private or public.

“We have read the said piece and verified that there was no reference of any sort, to affirm that she was interviewed at all. Those who are yearning to draw Senator Olujimi to any unnecessary controversy to cause disaffection between her and Segun Oni should better look elsewhere…”she said.
