Defending champions, Olisa Agbakoba Legal, will tomorrow at the AstroTurf 2000, Ikoyi, continue their march to a second consecutive win of the Bankola Olumide Aluko (BOA) Football Championship, also known as Lawyers League, when they confront T. Oyetibo/B. Osipitan in one of the semi-final matches of the competition.

The 2015 champions last weekend defeated hard-fighting Banwo/Ighodalo 1-0 through a Moruf Showumi ninth-minute goal.

Against a battle-toughened T.Oyetibo/B. Osipitan, Agbakoba must be in their best form if they desire to return to the final.

T. Oyetibo/B. Osipitan literally went through the needle’s eye in their quarterfinal clash with Advocaat, winning 2-0 through penalty shoot-out after a goalless regular period.

The other semifinal of the competition involves Falana & Falana, who will battle with Aluko & Oyebode for a place in the final.

Falana & Falana got to the semifinal courtesy of two strikes by Tayo Fashanu, which ensured a 2-0 defeat of former champions, Lagos State Ministry of Justice (LSMJ), while Aluko & Oyebode got the better of Olajide Oyewole with a 5-4 penalty shoot-out win after scores stood 1-1 regulation time.
