The dream for mass transit scheme by the Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun-led administration has become a reality as the state government has taken delivery of new buses equipped with modern technological capabilities.

The bus mass transit scheme is part of government’s deliberate efforts at modernising and promoting efficiency in the transport sector.

The new buses, which are first batch, are designed to have better capacity and reliability than a conventional bus system with a view to providing commuters a safe, affordable, fast and pleasurable experience on the roads.

The state Commissioner for Transportation, Gbenga Dairo, who spoke while taking delivery of the buses, yesterday, said that taking delivery of the buses was a testimony to the commitment and readiness of Dapo Abiodun-led administration to strengthen local economy through transport development thereby creating jobs along the value-chain of transportation system.
