Ogun set to overhaul health sector, says gov
Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun yesterday said his administration was set to revolutionalise the health sector for effective services.
Specifically, he disclosed that the government was committed to restructure the health assurance scheme by addressing all the identified lapses within it.
He said that with the panel of enquiry on the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu, the tertiary institution would now be able to serve as an effective referral centre to others.
The governor spoke at the 43rd yearly general scientific meeting of the West African College of Physicians (WACP) held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) Abeokuta, the state capital.
