THE Presiding Bishop of El-Shaddai Bible Church, Ikoyi, Lagos, Bishop Olanrewaju Obembe, has congratulated former Lagos State governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola, on his appointment as Minister for Works, Power and Housing and also tasked him to perform creditably in that office.

In a statement made available to The Guardian, the former chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Lagos chapter, enjoined Fashola to do what Napoleon could not by constructing five revolutionary industrial commercial roads in Nigeria.

While calling on the minister to channel all his energies to the abandoned road projects such as the Lagos-Badagry-Sokoto road; Ibeju-Lekki-Port Harcourt road; Lagos-Ibadan expressway; Ilesha-Akure-Owo dual carriageway; and Ilorin-Jebba-Mokwa road, Obembe said: “We know you are a performer and God has given you sanctified intellect to solve the problems of electricity and the deficit in housing in Nigeria.
