Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, has told his members that no sacrifice is too high when it comes to the things of God.

He stated this, yesterday, when he and his wife, Zeenat, met with members of the Islamic group who lost their relations during the bloody clash between soldiers and Shiites in December 2015.

According to a statement by the Vice President of IMN Media Forum, Abdullahi Usman, the IMN leader apologised for having to invite some of them, instead of visiting them in their houses to condole with them.

“Due to the injuries we sustained during the military attack on us, we still carry bullet fragments in our bodies, and there is no way we can meet up with all the victims and the survivors of the brutal military onslaught against us in December 2015,” he stated.

The hundreds of Shiites, who met El-Zakzaky for the first time after he was discharged and acquitted by the High Court over allegations of culpable homicide by the Kaduna State Government, pledged to re-dedicate to the tenets of Islam and IMN, despite the ill-treatment by the government.
