Citing persistent failure by the Federal Government to match her promises with action, Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and a civil society group in Kano have urged the government to find lasting solution to the lingering fuel scarcity and worsen power outage in the state.

Chairman of Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) in Kano, Mr. Kabiru Ado Mingibir, urged the Federal Government to quickly find lasting solution to the protracted fuel scarcity in the country. According to Dakata, the issues of fuel scarcity and power outage remain critical needs that determine the economic wellbeing of Nigerians without which life would be pretty difficult for common masses.

On power, Minjibir accused the electricity power distribution company for continuing implementation of the new tariff regime despite court order resisting them from it.
