Nigerians mock Soyinka, TB Joshua over Donald Trump
For two different but related reasons, Nobel laureate Professor Wole Soyinka and the founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations Pastor TB Joshua are at the centre of criticisms on social media.
Joshua had predicted that ‘the U.S. election would be won by a woman’. But with the emergence of Donald Trump as the winner of the election, Nigerians have bashed the General Overseer of The Synagogue accusing him of false prophecy.
Wole Soyinka, on his part, said he would tear his Green Card if Donald Trump won the election. And now, Nigerians are urging him to tear his permit of permanent stay in the US just as he promised days before the election.

I salute the courage of TBJ and Soyinka for daring to make public statements about a big event like US election. In my opinion, they are better than the rest who were afraid to make mistakes. I will continue to believe in Wole Soyika as my Nobel Laureate and TBJ as my Charismatic Televangelist and Prophet. Their track records remain!
Beware of false prophets!
There are people that make the business of the media palatable. I suggest that I and you are not one yet because the wisdom of the poor is hardly heard at the great heights. Soyinka could have spoken not on the pages of the media, because it is him , it must make the news. But TB Joshua is in his own world of taking the place of God. Was he drunk of the Baachus spirit when he uttered from his Synagogue in a video format televised to whole world? The true test of a prophet is if what he prophesies come to pass. Now he is completely a false prophet.
Who told you TBJ is taking the place of God? That man is among the examples I can give of real humble men in Nigeria. If some of our young pastors have a fraction of his anointing to heal and deliver, pride will destroy them. Each time the prophecy of TBJ comes to pass, you will call him names. This time, he says Clinton will win and you forgot that one night is enough for the men of God in America to pray and say: God, we do not want Clinton to come and strengthen the institution of Gay marriage, instead, give is Trump. How many prophecies changed overnight in the Bible? If you respond to this post again, I will list at least three that changed the very same day they were given.
Prof Soyinka has never been a prophet or claimed to be one. So it’s OK if he gives his opinion.
The other gentleman is the one who claims to be a prophet. I hope that after this big gaffe he will keep quiet for a while!

Childish? It was an emphasis of his disgust at the racial thrash that Trump employed during the campaign. We will soon see whether it was childish or a genuine alarm at the sentiments Trump appealed to on his way into power…we should stop being too simplistic please!
Well, don’t crucify both men yet. Prof Wole Soyinka is human being with a reasonable life to make a choice. Probably he forgot that he is living in a glass house. He spoke like his brother Obasanjo who tore his PDP card prior to the election. The extremities of human minds work on the emotional chambers of the soul to vex the heart and to utter words that can never be retracted again. Sorry, he was snared by the words of his mouth.
As for TB JOSHUA, he has nothing to learn again but has been sifted finally by his father, the Satan. I watched him in video on his prediction/prophecy and spoke as if he were God and I concluded that Satan in the flesh is more dangerous than Satan in the spirit. To follow Satan is to fight for the certificate of disgrace and destruction. See how he has come to nothing nothing in a split time.
This is why Nigeria remains a backward country. They make enemies of everyone, except their genuine enemies – the politicians! What a shameful bunch of people. If only you knew why Prof. Soyinka said what he said….you all need to be concerned for our race and Africa as a whole because of the rising far right tendencies in Europe and America, yet you are all here mocking a man who has spent his entire life trying to help Nigeria and indeed the black race! Shame on you all who are mocking him, we will see who laughs last. On the other gentleman, he is a pure market trader prophet whose only usefulness is to the idiots who follow him! I have no issues to join with his ilks…
