President of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Chris Isiguzo, yesterday visited an employee of the Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State (BCA), Mrs. Rose Lawrence Ubani, who gave birth to a set of triplets at Hosanna Specialist Clinic on Saturday in Umuahia the state capital.

The triplets, two males and a female, came to the couple, who are both public servants in the state, after their twelve years of marriage without a child.

Isiguzo congratulated the couple for the blessing and for having faith in God over the years. He promised to in addition to the cash donation do more after their discharge from the hospital.

Accompanied by the state NUJ chairman, Comrade John Emejor and other journalists, Isiguzo told the elated couple the visit was to celebrate with them.

“We specially thank God for their safe delivery. We will ensure that babies do not suffer. We as journalists will help and not leave everything to the government and others. I shall get back to you after you are discharged from the hospital,” he said.
