Ondo APC inuagurates campaign committees

AHEAD of February 14, 2015 Presidential Poll and the campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) in Akure, Ondo state capital on Saturday, the party has inaugurated its campaign and mobilization committees.

   The chairman of the party in the state, Isaac Kekemeke who inaugurated the committees said the APC has become the party to beat in any election in the state pointing out that the committees would work round the clock to ensure victory for the party in the next month elections.

    The committees are Planning and Strategy, Campaign and Mobilization, Media and Publicity, and Intelligence and Security.  They are headed by notable members of the party including former members of PDP who defected to APC last week.

   At the ceremony were Chief Pius Akinyelure, the national vice chairman of the party (south west), Benson Enikuomehin, Victor Olabimtan, Femi Agagu, Ifedayo begunde, Tunji Abayomi, Fola Olasehinde, Olu Adegboro, Ifedayo Oyedele among numerous party stalwarts.

   He charged members of the committees to be alive to their responsibilities and ensure that the party wins in all elections to be held next month in the state

   Akinyelure called on party leaders to ensure that they educate their followers on the importance of collecting the Permanent Voters Cards ahead of the election pointing out that voters card remains the only weapon they can use to vote out the PDP at the national level to effect the desird change the nation is craving for

    Speaking on behalf of the committees’ members, Olabimtan, a former Federal Civil Service commissioner assured the party of their preparedness to work for the victory of their presidential candidate, Buhari in the next month election.
