THE Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kogi State Council is set for a media parley with candidates of the various political parties contesting the February general elections in the state.

  The union indicated that the media parley is in fulfilment of one of the social responsibility functions of the Nigeria Press as contained in chapter 2, section 22 of the 1999 constitution. 

  In a statement signed by the state chairman and secretary of the union, Alhaji Ali Atabor and Alhaji Adeiza Momohjimoh respectively, the union said the parley is aimed at creating platform for the candidates to unfold their programmes of action to their respective electorates.
