PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan is to storm Sokoto State on Monday in furtherance of his re-election campaign.

The state’s Deputy Coordinator of the Goodluck Jonathan/Namadi Sambo Campaign Organisation, Alhaji Ibrahim Gidado, said in a statement Friday that various committees had been raised to ensure the success of the event.

He said that the president would be received at the Sultan Abubakar III International Airport by top PDP officials.

Gidado urged the citizens to turn up en-masse for the event billed for the Shehu Kangiwa Square within Sokoto Metropolis to give the president a rousing welcome and “confirm to him that the state is indeed a PDP state and people in the state are willing and ready to vote him again so that he will continue with the good work of transforming Nigeria”.
