PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan is expected to break from his campaign Friday to attend the burial of his younger sister, Mrs. Nancy Jonathan-Olei, who passed away on Sunday, January 4 in Otuoke, Bayelsa State.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati, who gave the details of the burial programme issued on behalf of the Jonathan and Otazi families of Otuoke, in Abuja yesterday said Mrs. Jonathan-Olei’s body would leave the Otuoke Comprehensive Hospital Mortuary at 9 am today for her residence in Otuoke.

Her remains would be received by members of her family at the residence and moved to the Dame Patience Jonathan Square for a Service of Songs scheduled to begin at 10 am. A funeral service for the deceased will be held at the St. Stephen’s Anglican Church at 1 pm after which her remains will be interred.

The statement said President Jonathan is scheduled to participate fully in the burial programme.
