A GROUP; Kogi Advancement For Change (KAC) has asked the state governor, Captain Idris Wada to sack the Special Adviser on Millennium Development Goals (MDG), Mr. Haliru Muhammed for what they referred to as “non-performance in office.”

Chairman of the group, Abdullahi Onushagba, in a chat with journalists at the weekend in Lokoja decried the inability of the governor’s aide who is also his cousin to discharge his duties as demanded by the office.

He indicated that the lacuna had led to total breakdown of the department, which in the past greatly contributed to infrastructural development of the state.

The group, however, commended the governor for his giant strides in the area of security.

They urged Wada to step up the ante in infrastructural development rather than tie funds meant for the execution of projects down by the MDG.

They argued that unless something is urgently done about the issue the confidence the people of the state have in the governor would be eroded.
