Delta PDP Realises N800 Million At Fundraiser

OVER N800 million was realized at a fundraiser for Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the February 28 election.

 The party’s Deputy Zonal Chairman for South-South, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh and the Chairman of Rainoil, Chief Gabriel Ugbechie each made a donation of N100 million, the highest by any individual.

  At the ceremony, which was presided over by Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, donors from the different senatorial districts of the state and well wishers from other states dip their hands deeper into their pockets, doling out huge amount of money.

  While Chief Michael “Ejele” Diden and friends made a donation of N50 million, former PDP Chairman, Chief Tony Anenih donated N25 million.
