AP candidate promises to create 50,000 jobs in Oyo
ACCORD Party (AP) governorship candidate in Oyo state, Senator Rashidi Ladoja has promised to create over 50,000 jobs within the first three years of his government if elected in next month’s election
Addressing his supporters during AP rally in Ibadan North Local government area of the state, he said that it is not enough for governors to express their desire to create jobs but should tell the people how they intend to do so.
He explained that job creations creation goes beyond over bloating the civil service as done in the state by the ruling party with the establishment of YES’O cadets saying his administration if elected will resuscitate companies he established during his first tenure
He listed the companies to include Tractor Assembly Plant, Pipe Making Industry, Brick Manufacturing Company, Pacesetter Farms among others, which he claimed his predecessors abandoned
Ladoja promised to invest massively in agriculture, noting that with a huge investment in the agricultural sector, agro-allied companies would be attracted to the state
Meanwhile, Director General of Senator Ladoja Campaign Organization Hon. Adeolu Adeleke has described AP candidate as the man the state needs at this time to move the state forward.
Speaking at AP rally in Akinyele Local Government Area, he said the APC administration has plunged the state into needless financial burden pointing at the rapid decay of key sectors such as education, roads, and health as the product of APC misrule in the state.
He said the beauty of democracy is that it allows for a change in government saying the people should seize the opportunity of the coming elections to vote out a non-performing government which the APC represents in the
