THE Anambra State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has rolled out its campaign programme scheduled to commence Wednesday.

The tour, which would stretch for 14 days would commence tomorrow, Wednesday, beginning with Oyi and Anambra East council areas. The schedule would systematically continue till all the 21 councils of the state were covered.

The plan was so structured to take the team to the North senatorial zone first, where Prince John Emeka is flying the senatorial flag, followed by the Central zone where Senator Annie Okonkwo holds forte and then would round off with the seven councils making up the South zone.

Chief Chris Uba is flying the senate flag for the party in this zone, and he has vowed that they were going to embark on a door-to-door campaign to ensure they triumph with landslide at the polls.

According to a statement from the party, the campaigns would be concluded on February 4, 2015 with Aguata council, the home council of Uba.

A visit to the campaign offices of Chiefs Charles Odedo (Idemili Federal Constituency) who is seeking re-election, Emmanuel Nwachinemelu Nweke(Awka Federal Constituency) Cesear Offoma(Nnewi Federal Constituency) yesterday revealed a beehive of activities where they were running around to conclude and tidy up things for tomorrow’s kick off.

In an interview in Awka, Uba noted that the candidates were among the best that has ever come out of the state and were poised to recover all lost grounds for the PDP in the state.
