NASFAT seeks divine intervention over banditry

Chief Missioner of Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), Moh’d Raji, has called on Nigerians to seek forgiveness from God to lead the country out of insecurity.

The cleric, while addressing newsmen during a Tafsir lecture in Kaduna at the weekend, said the insecurity and other challenges confronting the country could be a way of testing Nigerians.He urged government at all levels to work towards providing means of livelihood for the teeming youths.

“It is important to recognise that an idle mind is the devil’s workshop. So, providing jobs for the youths will go a long way in curbing the ugly trend in the country,” he said.

While calling on government to redouble its efforts in addressing the issues of banditry, herdsmen’s attacks among other vices, he encouraged Nigerians to have positive attitude towards the government and one another.
