THE visit of the General Overseer of the Deeper Life Bible, Pastor William Kumuyi, which was earlier scheduled for March 24 – March 27 across some major towns and cities in Delta State will now take place today till Saturday, June 13.

The state Overseer of the church, Pastor Obinna Nkemjika told reporters in Asaba that the earlier visit was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

The General Overseer will visit Asaba, Ogwuashi-Uku, Agbor, Kwale, Ughelli, Bomadi, Sapele and Obiaruku where he is expected to hold spiritual programmes for the people.

Nkemjika said that the visit was in fulfillment of the Divine commission, which Jesus Christ gave to his servants to go into the world and preach the gospel, adding that the programme would be of political, spiritual and physical relevance.

He said: “It is in fulfillment of the great commission, which Jesus Christ gave to his servants to go into the world and preach the gospel. But at this time in particular in Delta State, and Nigeria in general, we know that we need the help of God.”

The cleric said Pastor Kumuyi would be coming to Delta State to “preach the gospel and proclaim liberty to the captives. We are expecting healing, salvation of sinners, reconciliation of man with God and preparing him for heaven, physical touch of God on sick bodies, and the oppressed.”

He added: “This is the first phase of his visit, he will be back for a second phase because we have 14 regions and 25 local councils in Delta State. He will come again until the entire state is covered. It is not just a religious visit, it is holistic.
