A TWENTY-FIVE-YEAR-OLD LADY, Oluchukwu Nwali, is currently battling for life after her neighbour, Chigozie Ugama, poured hot water on her body during an argument, causing serious injuries all over her body.

The incident happened at the Amaeka community in Ezza South Local Coucil of Ebonyi State.

The victim, who is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital at Onuoji Echara in the council, is said to be in a critical condition with doctors hoping she can survive the attack, as she suffered first-degree burns all over body, pulse.ng reports.

Just managing to narrate ordeal, Nwali revealed she could not believe a fellow woman could do such to her over a minor misunderstanding.

The victim said that after the slight misunderstanding, she reported the matter to the woman’s husband who promised to look into the matter but she was surprised when the woman attacked her while she was cooking and emptied a bucket of boiling water on her.

“As I finished complaining to the husband, I did not know that Mrs Ugama had prepared hot water for me. Immediately I stepped outside, she poured the hot water in a bucket on my body.”
