THE Secretary to the Government (SSG) of Benue State, Mr.Targema Takema, has urged media practitioners to be factual in their reportage of events.

Takema, who gave the advice yesterday during an interactive session with journalists, praised the media for the role it has been playing to bring the needed change in democratic practices.

The SSG promises to add value to governance in Benue State.

“I am in this government to add value to the people of the state. I am not here to work for my children. It is not that I have any project that I want to use government money to complete.

“God will not forgive me if I divert money that is meant for the people for my personal use. I am a Christian, and I want to make heaven. So, I don’t want to do things that will prevent me from going to heaven,” Takema noted.
