Governor Nasir El-Rufai has forwarded names of his media spokesman, Samuel Aruwan, and 10 others as commissioner-nominees to the Kaduna State House of Assembly.

He is also to send three more nominees to the lawmakers for confirmation ahead of the constitution of the State Executive Council (SEC).

Aruwan was nominated as Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs.

A statement yesterday from Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House indicated that upon confirmation, the commissioners would run the 14 ministries created in the June 2019 Executive Order.

Aruwan in the statement said: “Malam Nasir El-Rufai nominated 11 persons for appointment as commissioners. The names of this first batch of 11 nominees have been forwarded to the Kaduna State House of Assembly.”
