Church Girl Foundation has tasked corporate organisations and individuals to support initiatives for the female child.

Chief executive officer of the non-governmental organisation, who also co-founded Pink Africa Foundation, Mrs. Gedah Etefia, accused corporate bodies and wealthy individuals of shying away from the sponsorship and support of faith-based initiatives.

Etefia raised concern over the issue yesterday when she spoke to journalists in Calabar, Cross River State, to announce the Church Girl Fashion Week 2019 billed for October.

She urged corporate organisations to ignore the false impression that sponsorship of some initiatives they seem faith-based might rub off on their image.
