The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has disbursed N2 million as loan to 200 youths at Ajaka in Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area of Kogi State under its Micro Enterprises Enhancement Scheme (MEES).

Facilitated by a Board Member, Aliu Ugbane, the scheme has farmers, traders and artisans who were selected from Ofu, Igalamela and Idah local government areas in Kogi East Senatorial District as beneficiaries.

Each of the recipients received N10, 000 to enable them enhance their enterprises.

In his welcome address, the state Coordinator of NDE, Zakari Abubakar, reiterated NDE’s commitment towards jobs creation for the unemployed youths and other jobless persons in the state.
