Nasarawa State Government has commenced activities marking the celebration of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s first year in office.

Emmanuel Akabe, Deputy Governor of the state made the disclosure yesterday in Lafia at a press briefing to outline programme of activities. According to him, the programme includes Friday Prayer, interdenominational service on Sunday May 24, inauguration of projects from Monday and flagging off of new projects.

He listed others to include stewardship by Commissioners and Head of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) from Monday-Thursday; media chats on Thursday and live broadcast by the governor on Friday, May 29.

He however said that despite their desire to showcase their achievements, but, given the present situation of coronavirus, it would be celebrated low key.

Akabe said that inauguration and flagging off of projects would begin from the Nasarawa West Senatorial District, followed by Nasarawa North and Nasarawa South respectively. He said that they would also visit all the quarantine and isolation centres for on the spot assessment of facilities and patients.
