Senator Bruce, a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who is currently representing Bayelsa East Constituency in Bayelsa, has reacted to the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said the president emerging as the winner of the presidential election has left Nigerians in a mourning state, rather than jubilation.

“They announce your ‘win’ and it is as if a majority of the nation is in mourning mode. That ought to tell you something. You can rig votes, but you can’t rig the public’s mood”. He said

According to reports, the President pulled 4 million votes against the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to stay retain his present position.
