Moghalu targets diaspora votes for 2023

The Presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party Kingsley Moghalu has said he will ensure that Nigerians in diaspora vote in the next four years.

Moghalu stated this on Monday while reacting to the endorsement of his candidacy by a group of Nigerians living abroad under the auspices of Nigeria Diaspora for Growth.

“I’m delighted and encouraged by the endorsement of my candidacy published by Nigeria Diaspora for Growth,” Moghalu said.

“I will work to ensure their votes will count in 2023, wherever they reside,” he added.

The Presidential hopeful also said “Nigerians in the diaspora, with their skills and knowledge” have essential role to play in the county’s development, therefore, he will ensure their votes counts if he is elected as President.

The former deputy governor of Nigeria’s central bank is among the 75 presidential candidates that are vying to unseat President Muhammad Buhari in the forthcoming general election.
