Ministry of works opens Lagos-Ibadan expressway to commuters

Federal Controller of Works Lagos State, Adedamola Kuti has expressed government’s commitment to ease the stress on commuters plying Lagos Ibadan expressway.

Federal Controller of Works Lagos State, Adedamola Kuti has expressed government’s commitment to ease the stress on commuters plying Lagos Ibadan expressway. 

Addressing newsmen yesterday at the find inspection of the completed section of the road in Lagos, Kuti said the road is set to open to commuters for use today.

According to him, the completed section of the road stretched from Berger to Kara bridge. Kuti said:” This is a total reconstruction work. We got to the foundation of the road up to 1.5meters. We also expanded the road with drainages on both side. We were able to finish the inbound into Lagos, which took around 13 weeks. We are also taking into consideration the suffering our people are going through.”
