Minister urges Nigerians to be patient with President Buhari
The Minister of Water Resources, Alhaji Suleiman Adamu, has assured Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari would deliver on his campaign promises, but pleaded for patience.
Adamu who spoke in Dutse on Thursday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), after a stakeholders’ meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said Buhari inherited many problems.
The minister said the President needed some time to solve many socio-economic problems affecting the nation.
Adamu assured that Buhari would fulfill his promise of boosting agricultural activities in the country to reduce rural – urban migration and increase food production.
According to him, the implementation of the programme would create wealth and gainful employment for youths and enhance industrialisation in the country.
The minister, who identified limited employment opportunities as one of the causes of conflicts in the country, said the present administration was poised to solve the problem.

SO FAR, MORE THAN SIX MONTHS INTO HIS DEAD SLOW ADMINISTRATION, BUHARI HAS DISGRACEFULLY FAILED NIGERIANS.
FOR EXAMPLE, REGARDING THE LONGSTANDING ENTITLEMENTS OF FEDERAL PENSIONERS, WHAT PREVENTS BUHARI FROM MAKING IMMEDIATE PAYMENTS OF ALL PENSION ARREARS INTO THE FEDERAL PENSIONERS’ BANK ACCOUNTS ????? THERE ARE ENOUGH FUNDS IN THE TREASURY SINGLE ACCOUNT(TSA) AS AT TODAY TO IMPLEMENT THIS IMMEDIATELY, ESPECIALLY WHEN BUHARI HAS ADMITTED PUBLICLY DURING HIS IRAN TRIP THAT MANY EX TREASURY LOOTERS IN JONATHAN’S ADMINISTRATION HAVE ALREADY RETURNED SOME OF THE LOOTED MONEY INTO THE TREASURY SINGLE ACCOUNT (TSA ) IN ADDITION TO THE NORMAL REVENUES ACCRUED INTO THE TSA. WHY IS BUHARI KEEPING TSA ACCOUNT AMOUNT AS A SECRET FROM NIGERIANS???? WHY????????
FURTHERMORE, THE ACCOUNTANT GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION (AGF) IN ABUJA, HAS ALREADY THE LIST OF NAMES AND BANK ACCOUNT NUMBERS OF VERIFIED PENSIONERS SUBMITTED TO HIM BY PENCOM, ABUJA, A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO FOR PAYMENTS. NOW ALL THAT PRESIDENT BUHARI HAS TO DO IS TO INSTRUCT THE AGF, ABUJA, TO TRANSFER ELECTRONICALLY ALL OUTSTANDING PENSION ARREARS AND HARMONIZED PENSION ARREARS OWED TO THE AFFECTED VERIFIED FEDERAL PENSIONERS INTO THEIR BANK ACCOUNTS. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR BUHARI TO DELAY SUCH PAYMENTS TO PENSIONERS, SIX MONTHS INTO HIS ADMINISTRATION, AS THE ARREARS HAVE ALREADY BEEN WORKED OUT, VERIFIED AND AUTHORIZED FOR PAYMENT BY PENCOM, ABUJA, MORE THAN TWO YEARS AGO AND
THE APPROVED LIST FOR PAYMENT IS ALREADY WITH THE AGF, ABUJA.
IT APPEARS, BUHARI HAS BECOME DEAF AND BLIND TO THE HELPLESS VOICES OF POOR PEOPLE OF NIGERIA JUST LIKE THE EX CLUELESS CORRUPT JONATHAN WHO WAS BOOTED OUT FOR THAT REASON EN MASS BY THE COUNTRY’S VOTERS IN EXPECTATION THAT BUHARI WILL PERFORM BETTER AS PROMISED BY HIM. CLEARLY, BUHARI IS BUYING TIME AND PLAYING WITH THE LIVES AND LIVELIHOOD OF POOR PENSIONERS AND WORKERS IN THE COUNTRY. THAT IS WHY, LIKE MANY OTHER NIGERIANS, I BRAND BUHARI, AS A COLD-BLOODED BEAST OF NO CONSCIENCE, NO CHARACTER, NO PRINCIPLES AND NO BASE. We get choice? If we’re not patient with him what shall we do? We don enter the bus already- one chance. Carry go baba Gaskia nothing do you. History shall tell of your true worth, no matter how you polish it. Continue!!! You know why it won’t bother this people to work for the masses? Because either they perform or not they leave their positions to become elder state men regardless. They’re praised by the masses they suffered, still respected by their minions and funny enough it doesn’t stop them from geti whatever they need, including their children coming to govt or even proud of such name that ordinarily shud be swept under the carpet of shame.
Problem is if situation continues odiously as it is presently nigerians may remember that their Patience went with the last administration months ago.
