MimikoGovernor Olusegun Mimiko has sworn-in 16 new caretaker chairmen of local governments in Ondo State with a charge to them to engage the youth in creative venture and also pay special attention to the needs of  women.

Dr. Mimiko, who also charged the new council bosses to be prudent and transparent in their transactions, added that they must ensure that all on-going projects in their areas are completed.

He stressed further that the chairmen should ensure harmonious relationship with  technocrats, energize the internally  generated revenue mechanism and not to  subject their people to unnecessary hardship.

While assuring  of his administration’s commitment to rendering best service to the people of the State, the Governor advised the council chairmen to keep faith with the mantra of the State government to cater for the greatest number of the people.
