olusesgun mimikoThe Ondo State Government has instructed the contractor handling the Oba-ile-Airport road in Akure to complete the dual carriage road immediately, to reduce the stress of motorists, who ply the road as a result of the ongoing construction.

In a statement issued by the State’s Commissioner for Information, Kayode Akinmade, in Akure, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, while giving the order, explained that since work has reached advance stage on one of the lanes, the contractor should endeavour to concentrate and work it through so that motorists can use it on single basis, pending when work will be concluded on the entire project.

The construction of the N4billion nine-kilometre dual carriage road in Akure North local council was recently re-awarded by the state government to CGC Nig. Ltd following the unsatisfactory manner the initial contractor handle the job.
