The alleged mastermind of president Muhammadu Buhari’s fake second wife’s wedding video Kabiru Muhammad maybe facing maximum jail sentence of three years.

Nigeria’s secret police arraigned Muhammad before a Kano Magistrate court 72, Normans land on Tuesday, the on two count charges of Defamation and Injurious Falsehood.

The Department of State Security Service charges premise on section 392 and 393 of the Kano Panel Code is said to attract maximum of three years imprisonment without fines, if found guilty to the charges.

The Mastermind who was brought to court amidst tied security by the DSS was still waiting for court ruling as at the time of filing this report.

The story of the president’s purported wedding card with the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Faruk went viral on social media last 2019.

The fake wedding arrangement which took the presidency awhile to counter or confirm attracted mix reaction especially from opposition party.
