The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Ogun State Chapter, has lamented the deplorable condition of roads in Agbara axis of the state and appealed to Governor Ibikunle Amosun to fix them as a matter of urgency.

The MAN Secretary, Mrs. Elegberun, who spoke on behalf of her colleagues, specifically mentioned the roads to include Agbara, Lusada, Atan and Igbesa. The manufacturers also complained of alleged multiple taxations imposed on them by government agency.

They spoke after the governor had addressed stakeholders at a town hall meeting organised to give room for the people to make inputs to the 2019 budget.

The governor, who pledged to complete all ongoing projects before the end of his tenure in May 2019, urged the manufacturers to partner with him in reconstructing the aforementioned roads since the amount involved is so huge. He, however, seized the opportunity to echo for the umpteenth time that his preferred governorship candidate in the state, Adekunle Abdulkabir Akinlade, is the one who would succeed him in spite of the controversy surrounding his election.
