The National Secretary of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Labaran Maku, has urged all Igbo to desist from travelling to their own states of South-East for voting during election.

The National Secretary of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Labaran Maku, has urged all Igbo to desist from travelling to their own states of South-East for voting during election.

Maku said this yesterday in Lafia while addressing leaders and members of Igbo community in the state.

According to him, Igbo and other Nigerians who are noted with the habit of running to their own states during elections should change such orientation.

“You are contributing to the socio-economic development of your state of resident, your children school here, so why are you running home when you are expected to decide through your vote who rules you?” Maku said.

He, however, assured that the Igbo in the state are solidly behind the governorship candidate of the APGA whom they trust will create a more peaceful and conducive environment for business.
