Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has challenged employees of the commission to brace up for more work and bigger tasks ahead.

He gave the charge in Ibadan at the weekend while presenting awards to outstanding staff members of its Ibadan zonal office.

Magu, who was represented by the Ibadan Zonal Head, Friday Ebelo, said the task ahead for the anti-graft agency requires more commitment and higher level of dedication from its personnel.

Some of the staff members were recognised for outstanding performance and contribution to the success of the zone in 2019.

Speaking at a media briefing to begin a road-walk in commemoration of the International Anti-Corruption Day, Ebelo put the figure of convictions secured in the zone in the last 12 months at 171.
