“In the last seven and a half years, we have placed emphasis on training. This is an attempt to institutionalize public service.
“This is a world-class training centre and as you have seen, the structure is ready and the gadgets are also ready. Our dream is to have a public service training institute that is globally competitive and the dream is now fulfilled,” Mimiko said.
The Institute is one of the 100 projects the Governor will be commissioning before he leaves office in February next year.
Briefing newsmen, the state’s Commissioner for Information, Mr Kayode Akinmade, said projects due for inauguration under the operation, tagged ‘Legacy Projects Commissioning’, include the International Event Centre in Akure, also known as The Dome.
The event centre has three Oval Domes with full architecture; the hall in each of the Dome can sit 5,000 guests and three events simultaneously.
