Larry Osula wins Madonna varsity award

THE Madonna University Alumni Association Lagos Chapter (MUAALAG) bestowed the association’s highest honour to one of the institution’s outstanding graduates, Mr. Larry Osula, at the association’s 2015 Annual Awards Gala Dinner in Lagos.

THE Madonna University Alumni Association Lagos Chapter (MUAALAG) bestowed the association’s highest honour to one of the institution’s outstanding graduates, Mr. Larry Osula, at the association’s 2015 Annual Awards Gala Dinner in Lagos.

Osula, Manager (Accounts), Amni International Petroleum Development Company Ltd, bagged a B.Sc. in Accounting from the university in 2003, and went on to become an Associate Chartered Accountant, member of ICAN in 2008. He also has an MBA in Oil and Gas Management from Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University.

He was honoured as the “Alumni of the Year” in recognition of his outstanding professional achievements since graduating from the university, as well as his contribution to the growth of the Association.

Reacting to the award, Osula said it was a pleasant surprise but well-appreciated.

Other alumni were also honoured in the following categories:‎ Maureen Steve-Obi; /Peter Chuka Nwachukwu; Steve Azuikpe and Gerald Obakhume.

The President, Emore Ogho, said:‎ “We decided to start a functional social group that could assist alumni easily find their feet and take advantage of the existing network. Since then, we have helped several of our members find good jobs or start up small businesses.”
