Lagos Traffic Radio holds second lecture series June 22

Lagos Traffic Radio, 96.1 FM, has concluded arrangement to hold its second annual lecture series on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at the Eko FM multipurpose hall.

Lagos Traffic Radio, 96.1 FM, has concluded arrangement to hold its second annual lecture series on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at the Eko FM multipurpose hall.

The theme for this year’s lecture is ‘Advancing Urban Transportation and Mobility’. The Chairman, Senate Committee on land transportation, Senator Gbenga Ashafa is the keynote speaker, while Professor S.G. Odewunmi of the Lagos State University School of Transport and Engineering, and Managing Director LAMATA, Abiodun Dabiri are the guest speakers. Governor Akinwunmi  Ambode is expected to be the special guest of honour at the event.

The event, in conjunction with ETC media concept will also form part of the fifth anniversary celebration of the station, commissioned on May 29, 2012 by the former governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola.

Lagos Traffic Radio, the first traffic station in the country, is meant to address traffic challenges in Lagos and its environment.
