Residents of Lagos State have urged the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to eschew political sentiments and support Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for a second term.

Residents of Lagos State have urged the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to eschew political sentiments and support Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for a second term.

The residents, who staged a protest yesterday at Ikeja Local Council, pleaded for an automatic ticket for the governor due to the infrastructure development he has embarked upon in the state. They argued that Amobode’s good works should continue in the state

A representative of the protesters, Charles Akube, said the governor’s good works across the state were enough to earn him a second chance. He said: ‘’Tinubu should not use politics to spoil the development that is currently going on in Lagos. ‘’Ambode has done enough to afford a second term, looking at the construction works going on all over Lagos State, we all know that the man deserves a second term to enable him continue the good works.’’
