FOR the third consecutive year, the Kokumo Oladipo Memorial Foundation (KOMEF) has empowered residents of Sagamu and other neighbouring communities, as part of its contributions to uplifting the standard of living of the people.

The philanthropic gestures were unraveled at the 2015 empowerment programme and Children’s Xmas party organised by Ogun State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Bashorun Muyiwa Oladipo.

Held in Makun High School, Sagamu, the event sattracted the less privileged women and school children in the community.

The former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs said the foundation would sponsor 25 youths from the community in leadership training programme. He noted that the fanfare was organised as a way of giving back to the society.
