Kogi State government is set to recruit 3,700 teachers to ensure quality teaching that will bring back the lost glory of education in the state.

Kogi State government is set to recruit 3,700 teachers to ensure quality teaching that will bring back the lost glory of education in the state. To this end, it has inaugurated a Quality Assurance Directorate.

The Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Rosemary Osikoya, revealed this in a message at the inauguration, which took place at the State Secretariat in Lokoja on Tuesday.

Represented by the Director of Quality Assurance at the Ministry of Education, Sherifat Yusuf, the commissioner, who codenamed the initiative ‘Operation Reach All Public Secondary Schools’, assured of 100 per cent quality education in both public and private schools.
