Kidnappers demand N50 million ransom for two Katsina councillors

The kidnappers of two supervisory councillors of Safana Local Council of Katsina State have reportedly demanded for N50 million ransom for their release.

The kidnappers of two supervisory councillors of Safana Local Council of Katsina State have reportedly demanded for N50 million ransom for their release.

The councillors, Bishir Dan Jikko and Hussaini Wanzan, were kidnapped two days ago on their way to Batsari local council after closing from work.

It was learnt that the kidnappers had reached out to relevant people with the demand for the ransom.

It was also learnt that negotiations were ongoing for the release of the two men.
