Kidnapped wife of NRC director regains freedom
Wife of the Managing Director, Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Mrs. Francisca Okhiria, has regained her freedom after about 13 days in the kidnappers’ den.
She was kidnapped in Benin City, Edo State capital, on September 25 by gunmen in police uniform.
Edo police commissioner, DanMallam Mohammed, who confirmed the development yesterday in Benin City, said she had been re-united with her family since Wednesday night.
“We have found out that those who kidnapped her are from Delta State; so we are working with our command in the state to locate them,” he added.
